Vacant position at Center for Chromosome Stability
The Center for Chromosome Stability (http://www.ccs.ku.dk/) and Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine (www.icmm.ku.dk) at the University of Copenhagen would like to appoint a new research group leader. The appointment is at the level of tenure-track assistant professor or associate professor depending on the level of experience of the applicant.
The CCS comprises 7 research groups with complementary expertise in molecular/cell biology, biochemistry and single molecule biophysics, high throughput cell- and proteomics-based screening, and yeast genetics.
The research focus of the successful candidate may be in any area of relevance to genome maintenance and stability, although candidates using the mouse as a model system to investigate how chromosome instability impacts on human disease are particularly encouraged to apply. The post-holder is expected to have an excellent track record of publications in major international journals, and to demonstrate the necessary skills required to establish a successful, externally funded, research group.
