CeGem PhD Scientific Retreat
May 4-5, 2026
Dear CeGem PhD Students,
We are pleased to announce that this year’s CeGem PhD Scientific Retreat will take place on 4–5 May 2026 at Comwell Køge Strand.

We have an exciting 1½ days planned, offering opportunities to:
- Present and discuss your research with peers
- Participate in a workshop on self-leadership during your PhD
- Connect with fellow PhD students during social activities
The PhD retreat is part of the mandatory CeGem PhD courses and carries ECTS credits.
A preliminary program can be found to the right, and further details will follow as the event approaches.
This year, we will include poster presentations, and all participants are therefore expected to bring a poster.
In addition, selected 3rd-year CeGem PhD students will be invited to give an oral presentation based on a submitted abstract. Accordingly, all 3rd-year PhD students are required to submit an abstract directly to Fena Orchs (fenaochs@sund.ku.dk) no later than 15 April 2026.

Rooms at Comwell Køge Strand are reserved for all PhD students. It is required to sign up for or opt out the room reservation on the registration form.
The location is in walking distance from Køge train station, approximately one hour by train from Nørreport Station (direct route with the S-train).
Registration is required.
