Ian Hickson has been awarded an infrastructure grant of 1 Mio DKK from the Carlsberg Foundation for the project entitled "Reconstitution of chromosome segregation using optical tweezers'.

This is to partially cover the cost of purchase of a C-trap optical tweezer instrument.
