Steven Bruce Levery

It is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of associate professor Steven B. Levery.

Steve was headhunted from University of New Hampshire in 2006 to establish a frontline mass spectrometry facility for glycomics at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine.

Steve was trained as a chemist and was a true expert in NMR and mass spectrometry with over 200 publications.

Through his leadership the Department has developed a worldrenowned glycoproteomics program, and Steve was about to harvest the fruits of this effort when he passed away peacefully in his sleep. We are all deeply affected by the sad news.
