Congratulation to Eva Hoffmann

Eva Hoffmann is one of six recipients of the 2026 Samsung Ho-Am Prize.

The prize honors individuals who have contributed to the advancement of human civilization and improved quality of life in the fields of science, engineering, medicine, arts, and social service.

Eva is awarded for her contribution to identifying the root causes of chromosomal abnormalities such as infertility, miscarriage, and Down syndrome. Her work is praised for opening new possibilities in developing treatments for infertility-related diseases.

Each awardee will receive a certificate, medal, and 300 million Korean won in prize money.

The award ceremony will be held on June 1st.
